So apparently we didn't get the memo that although red was one of the three colors we could wear we would be the only ones wearing it. Needless to say we stuck out like a sore thumb, and looked and felt absolutely ridiculous. Here is the proof...

Luckily I have a friend who is absolutely wonderful and amazing and she spent a couple hours working on photo-shopping the big family picture so that we wouldn't look quite so ridiculous! I printed it for Janet because she and Roger wanted a color picture of the family and I just hated looking at the original. Thanks again so much Janelle!!!

Brenna is in a choir directed by Jenny Phillips and she was given a project to get pictures of women holding babies, women attending the temple, women and youth at the temple, reading scriptures, praying, and things of that nature for a video that Jenny is trying to put together so we did a mini photo shoot with our kids. Eric and I took the girls to The Big Red Barn Pumpkin Patch in Santaquin. They had hay rides (well wagon rides) to the patch and Rylyn loved it. It was kinda chilly but Rylyn didn't seem to mind. Hallie slept the whole time on Eric's chest so it was a successful trip.

Denney Girls

There are three of us now. Well three of Eric Denney's girls that is and here are some pictures of how we spend our time. Rylyn is too smart. I guess I can't have her watch me do makeup anymore cause she knows how to do hers now...

Sort of! It is a good thing I don't wear waterproof mascara or it would have been a pain to get off.

Going for walk is a favorite of both girls! I think they just like to be outside and moving.
We still spend a lot of time snuggling regardless of when or where. Rylyn says "ho- yoo" which means hold me and so whatever I am doing gets dropped and that is what I try to do.
Rylyn loves having a baby sister. She tries so hard to be gentle and snuggle her. Ry loves giving Hallie kisses too.

It has been a while since I posted anything and I missed a lot of summer fun but here are some pictures to catch up on.

We went to Lagoon with my parents, Brenna and her boys, and Tempy and her kids. Most of the day was spent at Lagoona Beach so there aren't many pictures.

My crazy girl in her "Hollywoods" (that is what we call her sunglasses) and even crazier hair.

Playing in the dirt at a wedding reception we went to in Nephi before we moved. Too cute to make her try to stay clean!
Playing in the pool in the back yard at our old apartment. It was too hot this summer to do much of anything else!
She is a water baby and I love it! I can't wait til next summer so we can really play in the water!

Hallie Mae Denney

Our precious little girl has arrived!!! Hallie Mae was born Thursday September 24, 2009 at 5:06pm. She weighed 8lbs and was 20in. She is absolutely wonderful! We had a pretty good labor and only had to push for a little over 3 minutes. It was actually great! I felt so good after she was born. I had the nurse turn off the epidural right after and had feeling back in my legs really quickly and was able to get up and walk around about 45 minutes after she was born. She had a kinda rough time though because the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. She came so quickly though that it really did not create any serious problems for her. She had a hard time breathing at first because she came so fast but recovered really well and rather quickly.

Rylyn ABSOLUTELY LOVES and ADORES her baby sister. When she got to the hospital she climbed up on my lap and motioned for daddy to give her the baby. She just sat and stared at her and would say "hi" and "wow" and "my baby". She was so soft and gentle with her, it just came so natural.

Two under 2 is going to be fun! There is definitely a cute bond between my girls! Hallie is so patient with her big sister and Rylyn just cannot get enough of HER baby. Kisses are a huge part of Hallie's life and they come from all sides.

Friday morning was a great experience. I woke up to my WONDERFUL husband holding my precious baby and we spent all day just staring at her and enjoying how content she is. I LOVE being a mommy!

Juab County Here We Come!!!

That's right!!! We are moving! We started looking at houses in June or July (we had been looking since Rylyn was born but not seriously) and really could not find anything that we really loved that was in our budget. In late July we found an adorable house that we loved in Santaquin but it was a short sale. We put an offer in but still have not heard anything back about it. A couple days later my mom found a way cute house on KSL and later that day our Realtor sent me the add to the same house. I liked it right away but having it in Nephi was sort of a bummer for Eric. It would add about 15 minutes to his commute. After many serious discussions and lots of prayer we put in an offer. I have to admit that we low-balled the owner a little but it paid off. They countered and we countered back with the same offer and it was accepted. We were more than a little shocked. "Now What?"

Well after the initial anxiety and shock wore off we are thrilled and excited. Of course still a little nervous but definitely excited. We close on Wednesday and will hopefully be completely moved in by Saturday! I don't think Eric ever thought he would live in Nephi but I think he is going to love it! I cannot wait to be moved in and settled before the baby comes and to be so much closer to my family!

My mom and I had to take advantage of $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point. She brought Brenna's boys up and we had a really good time. None of the kids had naps until we went home at 4 but they were so good all things considered!

We decided to take Rylyn to the aquarium last Saturday. It made her a little nervous at first but she warmed up to the idea pretty fast. I think she had more fun than Eric and I did.

Rylyn has gotten so big and I have been horrible about blogging so here are a couple pictures of what she has been up to.She learned how to climb into her high chair and as you can tell was very proud of her accomplishment.

So it has been a while since I posted anything so here goes the short version of our life since April. Rylyn had to get 5 stitches above her right eye after diving into the window sill from the love sac, Eric finished school and was given a raise and a company truck, and we found out that baby #2 is a GIRL!!!!! We have not decided on a name yet but I still have four months to come up with something wonderful.

Rylyn's birthday was quite an experience. We had so much fun! We spent the Easter weekend at my parent's house in Sterling and had a birthday party with them Saturday night. Maurake, Jerome, Brenna and her boys were there too. It was so much fun. Rylyn loves chasing and being chased by her "cousin brothers". We gave her a piece and she picked the whole thing up and shook it. It was pretty funny!

Monday night we had another party. Eric's family, Tempy and her kids, and my parents came with Brenna's boys. It was quite an event! we had a lot of people in our apartment. Eric's family has a tradition of letting the kids have their own birthday cake on their first birthday. I think she enjoyed destroying it but she doesn't enjoy having stuff on her hands.

So I have noticed that I have been absolutely horrible about keeping my blog updated, so for some of you that means that I have been horrible about keeping you updated about the stuff going on in my life. Well here is a quick recap... Rylyn started walking in February and it is absolutely wonderful most of the time. She is quick so it can be a little inconvenient but she really is so much fun. Eric passed his BYU independent study class by .88% which means that he will be able to graduate this semester! YAY!!!!! Rylyn had her first snowmobile ride (pictures below), her first Easter (pictures also below), and her 1st Birthday (pictures to come)!!! It has been a busy year so far. I guess since I am listing Rylyn's first things I might as well tell you that Rylyn is expecting her 1st little sibling in October.
That's right! We are having another baby! I am due October 1st. So that puts me at about 16 weeks or 3.5 months! Eric and I were totally caught off guard but we are so excited to be able to welcome a new baby into our family!

Wide Eyed Beauty!

Rylyn's Great Grandpa Legs (my dad's day) made Rylyn a saddle. Well technically he made it for all my children but since Rylyn is the one and only for now it is hers and she seems to love it!

She pulls herself up so easily now to play with the saddle.
Grandma gave my little girl a candycane. She loved it! She didn't mind getting cleaned up afterwards either. Such a good girl!

I think the sticky kisses made the whole experience even better. Brenna sure liked it!

Eric's Birthday!

Lily Lake

We went up to the cabin this past weekend in hopes that Eric would end up bringing home a dead deer. After a couple days of hiking around in the Uinta Mountains we decided that pictures from Lily Lake would be about the only thing we would be bringing home. Well... at least we have a cute new family picture to add to the album.

Home Again

We are finally home. We were discharged Tuesday morning after another round of antibiotics. Words cannot describe how happy we were to be on our way home to sleep in our own beds and not have people poking and prodding Rylyn while she was trying to sleep. Rylyn is a complete;y different baby now. She is so happy. I just love it!

Surgery

Rylyn was scheduled for surgery Friday at 2:00 pm. Well 2 came and went and she was still not in surgery. We were finally escorted to the OR at 4:00pm and she came out around 6. The surgeon came to explain the surgery to us and tell us how it went but the news was not all good. Rylyn tolerated the surgery well but there was a lot more infection than we had previously thought so we will have to be in PCH a little longer than we hoped. There was at least 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of infectious ooze in the urachus and it was really attached to the bladder so they had to scrape it off the bladder. She is doing really well now though. She is irritable and cranky but that is expected and totally understandable. We are so very glad that she is such a strong fighter.

Belly Button Drama

So it begins! Saturday morning shortly after taking the pictures in the crib I was changing Rylyn
s diaper and noticed her belly button was a little swollen and looked like it was bruising. I took her to the doctor and the PA/Nurse Practitioner thought it was a mild umbilical hernia and told me I didn't have anything to worry about and that is would go away on it's own. Well... things stayed about the same until Monday morning and the belly button started getting bigger and she started getting more agitated and it just got worse from there. Tuesday morning it was horrible. It looked like her insides were trying to escape from her belly button. Luckily my mom was there so it didn't freak me out. I opted not to see the same PA that morning and waited until later that afternoon to see a doctor instead. We went in at 2:10 to see Dr. Vargo and as soon as she saw the belly button she told us it was infected and that we needed to go up to Primary Children's Hospital. Even in the short time from the doctor's office to PCH it had changed and gotten worse.

It turns out that it was not a hernia, not a hernia at all. Rylyn has a urachial sist. The urachus is a tube that connects the belly button to the bladder when the baby is in the womb which is how she gets rid of her waste. It usually closes as the urethra forms. Rylyn's didn't close so it got infected. It looked kinda like a big zit. (sorry I didn't get pictures before it ruptured) The "zit" popped around 8:00 pm and about 1/4 cup of green ooze came out. Yeah it was nasty. It was a good thing it popped on it's own though.

Now she is getting antibiotics through the IV and we are waiting for the infection to go down so the can do surgery to take the urachus out so it doesn't get infected again. We have another ultrasound today and if all goes well we will be able to do surgery tomorrow. We will still be at PCH for a couple of days after surgery but at least now we know what is going on with out precious little girl.

Eric and I ran our first 5K and I guess Rylyn did too. I was going to run with my friend Julie but she had to go camping instead. Eric stepped up and decided to run with me so I did not have to run alone. My mom and dad came up to watch Rylyn while we ran but my mom (the crazy lady that she is) ran the whole thing pushing the stroller. I was so proud of Eric running after not training and beating my time by 3 minutes. He is amazing!

After the bonfire the night before Eric and I headed back up Manti Canyon to go fishing with the boys. Colter was the designated fish releaser. That is one of the fish Eric caught that day and I am proud to say that I caught the biggest of the 6 that we kept. Yay for me. Hopefully it is the start of a summer full of fishing!

Rylyn has been sleeping in her crib for 3 weeks and I have to say it is going pretty good! She goes to bed around 10pm and sleeps until 4am. She usually eats and goes back to sleep until 6 or 6:30am. I will feed her again and take her to bed with me and she will usually go back to sleep until 9 or 10am. She does sleep better in the morning if she is with me so I don't mind. I could really care less if she slept with us til she was 3 but I don't think Eric would go for that. I just love watching her sleep. This picture was taken this morning after Eric left. Father's Day

Well Eric and I celebrated his first Father's Day yesterday and it was kinda cool. It was fun for me to look for cards for someone besides my dad or grandpa. I ended up getting him three because I could not decide which one to get. I feel bad because I really did not do anything special for him that morning. I got him a new hat because even though he has like 20 he said he really needed a new one. Who can resist some one so cute though.

I don't quite know how I roped him into marrying me. Anyone who knows him or knows me, knows that he is way out of my league. I definitely don't deserve him. He is a wonderful man and a GREAT husband. I am very lucky to have him in my life. I tell my mom that God knew my kids would need someone patient and kind to raise them so he gave me Eric. He knew I needed someone very special. It took me a while to convince him that he wanted me though. (ha ha poor kid. never knew what hit him)

Eric was wonderful during my pregnancy and has been even better now that our little baby is here. They are both such wonderful blessings and I am lucky to have them. I don't know how I will ever be good enough to deserve either one of them.

Two Months

Rylyn had her two month appointment Friday the 13th! It was not a fun time for her. She had to get 1 oral vaccine and five shots. Two in her right leg and three in the left. She now weighs 13 lbs and is 23.5 inches long. That makes her 90% in her height and 95% in her weight. The doctor was proud and told me to give myself a pat on the back. I have to admit that I do that every time I look at the beautiful baby! Even with how big she is, she still looks tiny and precious in the hands of her loving daddy.

Rylyn was blessed on June 1st. We had lots of family and friends over for lunch afterwards and it really was a blast. My mom made her blessing dress. She is simply amazing especially since she didn't use a pattern.

Lately we are all smiles! Grinning starts first thing in the morning and usually continues through the day and I absolutely love it! Rylyn is so much fun!

She even smiles through her hiccups which she still gets frequently. The good news is that she only gets them once or twice a day now though.

Rylyn loves bath time. She loves the warm water and lateley she really gets into it. Cooing and giggling the whole time. She doesn't always like to get out though so that part is kinda rough but we love it, especially the snuggling that comes afterward when she smells all clean and yummy.

My Little Sleeper

So my mom was with Rylyn during the day Monday through Thursday last week and I think she really missed her grandma on Friday because she did not sleep at all that day. She was mad all day until Eric and I went to dinner with some friends and then she calmed down and got some sleep. That night when we got home she ate and went to sleep and slept for 6 hours straight. It was wonderful. Saturday I really did not think she would do it again because we had gone to Manti and she really slept almost all day but my little Rylyn slep for 6 hours straight again Saturday night and Sunday night. I was so proud of her. Eric played mommy Saturday night for me so I got tons of sleep. Yesterday was a little rough again because she just couldn't keep herself sleeping unless I was holding her and even then she would only sleep for 45 minutes or so tops. When I tried to put her in the bassinet last night she just woke up and cried so of course I gave in and she slept on my chest. Once she went to sleep though she slept for 6.5 hours again.
I definitely think we are getting close to sleeping through the night. What a big girl I have. Dang she grows fast!
She likes snuggling into me or her daddy when she sleeps and sometimes it looks like she is either hiding from the world or playing peek-a-boo. I just love it.

I love it when she sticks out her tongue when she is sleeping. She has such a cute little mouth.

I have definitely been blessed with the best mom in the whole wide world! I had to return to work this week and I was kinda stressing because I really could not bring myself to even think about leaving that sweet little daughter of mine. My mom knew it was going to be hard for me so when I said that I wished she lived closer so she could watch Rylyn she just said that she would come up. So she came up early Monday morning and stayed the night. She went home Tuesday night and was back up here first thing this morning with the little grandsons in tow. She is simply amazing. It won't be like this every week of course though because I have worked out a much nicer schedule with my boss so I will only work Tuesday and then Monday and Wednesday evenings. Mom will of course come up Tuesday but daddy gets her on Monday and every other Wednesday because he has class. Aunt Tempy gets her on the days he has class. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Our little girl was born Saturday April 12, 2008 at 6:13am.
She weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
She is very healthy and amazingly beautiful! We are so blessed.
She is very happy and content all the time. She looks a lot like her daddy and loves it when she is in his arms! I think she gets that from her mom though.

At the hospital right before we brought her home. We were actually able to come home Sunday afternoon. We were discharged around 1:45pm. It was definitely nice to be home and be able to relax and just be with Eric and Rylyn.

In daddy's arms again at home. She is just to precious! We really just sit and stare at her all day! Eric is already wondering how he is going to be able to leave her and go to work again. It has been nice to just be at home together.

So here is the belly. Still growing! Come to think of it EVERYTHING is still growing! My feet, my hands, and everything in between. We are almost there though and this little girl inside my tummy will be here soon enough! This picture was taken at 35 weeks so it is the most recent one I have. She is still kicking tons and definitely is a tough one! I am just glad that she kicks kind of softly at night again so I can sleep. It has been a relatively rough weekend though so it is a good thing it will not last much longer. (oh, I did a half mile again! I have not been able to do that for a while but I got it in this morning)

Good Times at Manor

It was definitely nice to spend some time at the cabin again. When Eric found out that we were going up and that he was actually going to be able to play around on the snowmobiles I couldn't get him to quit smiling. He kept reminding me all week that we were going up. I have to admit that although it was nice to catch up on sleep (which I do quite well at the cabin) I was definitely jealous that Marianne got to go with the boys. I guess there is always next year. It will be fun to have a little one up with us next year.

Manti Baby Shower

Right before the shower I snagged Eric for a quick picture since we have not done one together showing off the belly for a while if at all. He was smart enough to run away to a hunting show with my brother Colvin and my brother-in-law Derek. Eric actually won a monocular there.

So Brenna and mom wrote a really cute poem about a mother's tattoos and it almost made both of us cry while she was readying it to me. After she read the poem though everyone got to put a tattoo on my big belly! It was kinda fun. Little Austin was concerned for a while though. He was quite curious as to what everyone was doing to his Aunt Hanna!

This is a picture of my crazy mama and one of the many blankets that she made. Her and Brenna both have been way too busy making blankets. This little girl will probably have a blanket to match every outfit.

What a pile. Half way through the present opening I still have quite a stack to go through. Is there any doubt that this little one will be spoiled? My family is just having way to much fun with their first little girl!

2 Years

I am sure this will just show you how much we are still newly-weds but Eric and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary last night. Two years ago was when Eric planted his first kiss on my lips (yes on our first date). What a stud I married! We celebrated by going to Olive Garden for dinner and then went to the dollar theatre to watch "I am Legend". It was a pretty good show but I got kinda scared. It is a good thing I have such a tough guy for a husband. Happy Two Years Babe! Love you!

I went to the doctor this morning for another prego check up. I am incredibly proud to say that since my last appointment 3 weeks ago I have not gained any weight! Yay for me!! Eric also found out this morning after swimming that he is down 5 pounds! Way to go babe!!!!!

I was informed last night that I am slacking again in the whole blogging thing so here is a new update.

I am officially 33 weeks pregnant today and I am definitely HUGE. I am constantly shocked when people tell me that I do not look big enough to be as far along as I am and I seriously want to ask them when they last got their eyes checked. I don't have ankles. I can no longer find my feet (since I can't see them and there is no division between my calf and my big toe) so putting on shoes creates a problem. Every time I stand up I have to pee even if I literally just got off the toilet. I swear there really is nothing left in my bladder half the time. You will all be proud to know that I really have not pottied my pants yet (knock on wood). My wedding ring no longer even fits to my knuckle and it is depressing to say that I wore Eric's around the house the other night and it did NOT fall off. It is even hard to fit on the big fake Wal-Mart one sometimes. My hands are constantly going numb as well as my bum and legs.

Rylyn continues to kick like crazy and I think she has found her new favorite position. Curled up in a ball on my right hip between my hip and rib cage. Not the most comfortable for me at work of course but there really is not much I can do about it. She really is tons of fun though. I just can't wait until Eric can actually carry her around for a change. She feels much heavier now that she is dropping a little bit.

Eric successfully caught some one's cold bug and was miserable for a couple days. Don't worry, we got him all drugged up and he is feeling much better now. Even my sniffles are starting to go away.

Sleep no longer happens for either one of us since I am totally uncomfortable and make sure he knows it (and he was sick). Hopefully now that he is better I can cuddle with him again and maybe, possibly get some sleep.

This picture is from 4 weeks ago so I need a more recent one but honestly the only thing that has changed is that I am a little bigger. Tons of fun though.

Swimming

Just another little update on our swimming efforts... I finally made it. I got my half mile. Monday morning was quite an accomplishment for me. I used to swim a half mile with dad at least three times a week but when Eric and I started swimming I could barely do a couple laps without being totally winded. Eric is now up to .625 miles (20 laps) and I am up to .5 miles (16 laps). Eric is also starting to lift on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He is so good! By the way, swimming is paying off. Eric's pants are definitely fitting looser and he looks great! I am so proud of his determination!

Prego Update

So I went to the doctor today and he said everything is measuring perfect and that little Rylyn's heart sounds good and strong. I am happy to say that I only gained a pound since my last appointment 4 weeks ago. Eric and I have been doing our best to go swimming at least twice a week which included 5am this morning. He got in a half mile!!!! Way to go E!!! I did two extra laps today. I promised myself and my daddy that I am gonna get back up to a half mile before this baby gets here so hopefully I can keep going strong. I really am not too far off. I am so glad Eric is so supportive. In the meantime Rylyn continues to kick her mama HARD in the stomach. I love it though.

Who would have guessed that Eric would ever wear REAL cowboy boots and a hat? Not me but then again I must have underestimated the influence my family and I would eventually have on him. New Years Eve he was found sporting a silver and gold belt buckle, 20X (a cowboy brand) jeans, a cowboy hat that is actually his, and a new pair of crap kickers. I have to admit I absolutely loved it! It almost beat the day that he told me he has always wanted to load hay. He has gone on a hay run with my family and now has his own cowboy attire for future use! I am so proud of my little cowboy!

I have to admit that although I really did not get enough sleep last night I am extremely proud of Eric's determination to get us both out of bed before 5am to go swimming. It felt good to go work out even if it was a weak one. We only swam a couple laps but I was definitely worn out by the end. Hopefully we can keep it up so we are both healthier when this baby gets here.

Eric and I had our ultrasound yesterday. The baby is "appropriate" in all of HER measurements, but the most exciting part is that SHE is a GIRL! No more calling HER an it. It is a GIRL!!!

You know I never really liked tag as a kid and I don’t know if blog tag is a whole lot better. Marianne warned me that she was going to tag me but I guess Casi beat her to it. So…seven interesting things about me… man that is a tough one.

1. I have a CRUSH on two much younger men! Colter and Austin are two of the cutest boys I know and I absolutely LOVE them. I honestly cannot get enough of them which is probably why I love going home to Manti so much. I am sure they get tired of my constant hugs and kisses but I can’t help it. I love when Colter wakes up in the morning and crawls into bed with Eric and me to snuggle and because he knows we will get up with him. Austin’s cooing always gets me. I can’t help but give him whatever he wants.

2. I HATE shopping. I know that sounds weird especially if you know all of my in-laws. They love shopping and even Eric enjoys it now and then. Especially when it comes to shoes. I never really have liked it. I have to know what I am looking for, where I want to get it, and then I get it and get out. I am getting better about spending time at the mall but that is definitely not where I would choose to be any given Saturday.

3. I married the BEST man in the world! I really don’t know where to start but I definitely lucked out when I found ERIC! He is such a tender hearted, loving, caring man! I know most women think they got the cream of the crop but Eric definitely takes the cake. I am a very cuddly person and sometimes I am sure that it gets old but he is such a good sport. I love that he knows me so well. There are times that I am really not having a good day and the only thing that could make it better would normally be my mom, a cup of hot chocolate, and It’s a Wonderful Life. ERIC has taken the place of that. When he scoops me up in his arms I melt and everything is right in the world.

4. I love SPORTS! Although I don’t really like to watch sports on TV I love to play and watch in person. I am definitely a very aggressive and competitive person and so sports became a big part of my life very early and have remained such through the years. Football, Baseball, and Ultimate Frisbee are my recent favorites but I am always up for a game of anything.

5. I love HORSES! I think Eric is a little disappointed that he married a COWGIRL and I have never put him on a horse. I think we will definitely have to get him on a horse soon. I have been riding since I was really little and competed in rodeos starting at age 4 I think and just kept doing them. I have not competed for a couple years though but I still love to ride.

6. I have a SUPER MOM! I have actually been lucky enough to have two amazing moms. Janet is awesome and is so helpful with anything Eric and I need but I have definitely been spoiled to have my mom. I had lunch with her a little while ago and she was commenting on her hands and I realized how lucky I am to have a mom who really has worked her whole life. Her hands may not be what some people would think a woman’s hands are supposed to look like but they are BEAUTIFUL to me. Her hands have dug lots of irrigation ditches, moved lots of furniture, helped train many horses, mended many scraped knees, and comforted many sick children. Even if they were not her own. Although I have big shoes to fill I hope I can be half the mom she was to me.

7. I love CHEESECCAKE! I love dessert in general but I definitely have to say that when given an option I would choose cheesecake. Not just any cheesecake will do though. I like restaurant cheesecake but the best is my mom’s. It is so rich and creamy and I just love it. The only one that comes close is Tempy’s. When nothing else will do cheesecake will always fix the world’s problems, well mine at least!

Ultimate Nothing

So Eric had an Elder's quorum activity on Saturday. The guys were all going to get together and play ultimate frisbee. Since this is one of my favorite sports I decided to drag myself out of bed by 8:45am (an ultimate accomplishment for me) to go watch. I ended up playing since there were not enough guys and we are both feeling the negative effects today. I knew we were out of shape but dang! It really hurts now!

I went to DI with my mom and brother the other day to find shoes for his Halloween costume. Of course mom and I had to look at boots. Colter found a pair that he really liked and he would NOT take them off for anything. He cried HUGE alligator tears when Lowry tried to take them off when we were checking out. Mom of course gave them back to him while I held him and tried to heal his poor broken heart. When we walked out of the store Colter looked at Lowry and said "I am three Lowry. It doesn't matter. I can have my boots if I want". Here are Colter's killer boots.

Baby Troubles

So I have decided that my mom and sister were spoiled when it comes to pregnany issues. Well at least as far as morning sickness is concerned. Dad claims that mom was sick a couple times when she was pregnant with Moky but mom says he doesn't know what he is talking about. Brenna was lucky enough to get through two pregnancies so far without getting sick (unless she was hungry). I on the other hand started getting sick aroung 6 weeks and went to the ER at 7 cause I couldn't keep anything down. I will have you know though that things are much better now and I really don't get sick anymore. Saturday was a fluke! HA! That was kinda funny. I definitely caught Eric, Casi, and Jared off guard with that one. I am at 14 weeks now and it looks like it will be smooth sailing from here on out.

Utah Weather

I really don't understand how you are supposed to "be prepared" for anything when you can't even prepare for the weather. Planning a little trip or even an outing anytime soon? Well be sure to bring your Bermuda Shorts and a Parka! Don't know what I'm talking about? Well here is an example. We went to a hockey game (UVSC vs BYU) Friday night. It was a little chilly sitting and watching but when the game was over (ended in a tie) we walked outside and took our jackets off. It was a lovely evening. So planning for the BYU football game I was hoping it would be a nice day but I was sadly dissappointed. We had to bundle up in layers and even had to pull out the ponchos while we were at the game when the snow started flying. Needless to say it only took me about four hours to thaw out when we got home. What a weekend! BYU won by the way.
